Sandon Point Events

Before a child can participate in any Nipper’s event, they must complete the Preliminary Skills Evaluation. Nippers U8 to U14 are required to attend the Sandon Point Proficiency Swim. 

There will be no additional proficiencies besides the 2 dates we have provided. U6 & U7 proficiency is done during nippers.

Due to COVID-9 restrictions we will need to monitor how many people are in the pool at the one time.

All nippers must arrive dressed and ready to do their proficiency (they do not need to wear the club cap and high visibility vest for proficiency). Change room and shower facilities will NOT be available.

Everyone is required to register their details in line with the Government regulations for contact tracing purposes.

Goggles are optional, no wetsuits allowed.

Parents/carers are advised to remain outside of the pool while proficiency takes place. After completing proficiency, parents/carers and nippers must leave immediately.

Everyone is responsible for social distancing and your assistance helping us maintain social distancing will be greatly appreciated.

If you or any of your family group are feeling unwell on the day or you have recently visited known COVID-19 hotspots please do not come.
